Build Niche Store

Posted by bux

Well I am about finished with my first ‘Build a Niche Store’ site. All I can say is wow!! The BANS software is so easy and customizable its CRAZY!!!

My first BANS site is HERE

I chose the ‘Southern Living at Home’ niche because it’s something that my girlfriend is into and I had shown her how to win the products off of ebay for a lot cheaper than her consultant was trying to sell it to her. And also Southern Living at Home (SLAH) consultants are not allowed to sell the products online so the only place to buy them online is ebay.

So the theory is these customers searching the web for SLAH stuff will end up at my site and hopefully be new to ebay so I get the new customer signup commision and the normal commision. I am still in the process of customizing my navigation menu (drop down css menu).

But almost finished with my first site and I have no regrets on the purchase of BANS. This niche store craze is reminding me of the MFA craze of yester-year, easy money to be made. I would get in now and make your hundreds and thousands now before someone puts a stop to it!

Ways to Make Money: eBay

Posted by bux

There are lots of ways to make money using eBay. Of course you already know about selling items on eBay, right? Sure you do..

You already know about buying a ‘lot’ of something and parting it out and making a little bit of money, correct? More than likely..

You already know about the fad of dropshipping, right? Probably..

Yeah, I know, you guys know about all that stuff. But did you know there was a free way to make money with eBay? No? Let me fill you in on a little known secret about the GIANT auction site eBay. EBay will pay you to send them customers, yes that’s right, eBay has an affiliate program.

The program is run through Commision Junction a huge affiliate network in itself. They will pay you for new customer sign-ups, I believe the current rate for sign ups is a whopping $25!! Just for having someone sign up!! You also get part of the commision eBay takes in on the seller’s end, (listing fees and ending fees).

There are guys out there making thousands a month with a special script to help you set up your own site with certain items listed on eBay. This program will literally pay for itself in the first month, it’s called Build A Niche Store, or BANS for short. It makes the setup a breeze. You can find more about BANS Here.

Check it out and I am sure you will become addicted. It is really like the heroin of affiliate marketing.

31 days later…A Wealthy Affiliate Story

Posted by bux

So tomorrow (Nov 9th) will be the end of my first month at Wealthy Affiliate, and I figured I would try to take time out of implementing all the techniques and learning to post on my experience.

What have I learned in my first month at Wealthy Affiliate?

Well the most important thing I have learned is Success is NOT Dependant on the Length of your Keyword List. It’s the quality of your keyword list. All the time I have been spending money using keyword tools like wordtracker and wordze when the best keyword tool on the market is the one between your ears, your brain. If you have a list of 20k keywords produced by a public keyword tool (it may be paid for but still open to anyone willing to pay) you are using the same list as others. That right there almost guarantees that there is already PPC competition for those keywords. The key to success is using your brain to think about what the user will be searching for when they are ready to open their wallet and find those longtail keyword phrases. For example before when I started a campaign I would start with a 2 or 3 word phrase to start diggin for thousands of keywords in one of those public tools, pop them into Yahoo and make 10 ad variations and go from there. Well I never was able to control my CTR like I should have been able to because rogue keywords would always sneak into that list and ruin it all.

Using your brain and a free keyword tool like Google’s Keyword Tool is about all that is needed for success. Think hard about people in the buying phase of searching for the product and check the competition and search volume in google’s tool and if the competition is less than the search volume add the keyword. For quality score make sure you group them by phrases and create an ad group with that phrase, create only 2 ads utilizing those phrases in the ad wording, find about 25 good keywords per adgroup and set it loose.

I was amazed when I started my new campaign using the techniques learned at Wealthy Affiliate because I went to my 9 to 5 job the next day and happened to look at my ClickBank stats and noticed I already had a sale!! The very next day it happened again! You are probably wondering how much I had to pay  for those clicks too huh? Well total click spend was about $1.80 and I had earned almost $50 from 2 sales!! Talk about some great ROI! I was smiling all day.

You still have to keep an eye on your campaigns to see where your ads are falling in the rankings and tweak the lesser performing ad and increase or decrease ad bids on certain keywords to get the most out of them but with only 25 keywords and 2 ads per adgroup it is very manageable.

Another big thing I have learned at Wealthy Affiliate is to make the most from your visitors. Don’t waste a PPC click for a visitor to just hit the back button. Entice that premium visitor with a bonus for opting into your mailing list. Offer a free report, software, or anything else you can think of to get that email address. Someone had said it takes an average site visitor 7 impressions to persuade them to open their wallet or purse and make a purchase. Why waste that first or second impression when you can reach that visitor for FREE in the future? Now I am currently in the stage of setting up my opt-in program and designing my site. Yup you heard that right, I don’t even have a site for the program I have been promoting. I have been sending visitors directly to the merchants page.

This post is getting a little long so I will finish it up. To sum everything up after a month at Wealthy Affiliate I have earned almost $175 on one campaign using the techniques and tactics found there with little money spent on clicks. I am going to continue my membership there because it is definately worth the measley $29 per month subscription price.
